As a runner, you may not be that eager to get into the gym. You get your exercise from running, your passion is running, and you don't have the patience for a lot of reps and weights and sets. But, you know that if you want to run better, faster, longer, stronger, cross-training has to be part of your overall program.

That's why you need cross-training that's runner specific, that's YOU-specific! Your training needs to focus on correcting muscle imbalances, injury prevention and adding muscle endurance, not building upper body strength or lower body bulk. You need a trainer who understands a runner's requirements and preferences and can build workouts for you that compliment your running program, not fight against it.

With Runners' XTra, you'll get a trainer who works with you, helping you clarify your cross training goals in line with your running goals. Then, your trainer will build you a program that helps you get there. You can work with a trainer in the gym (if you are local to Central Alabama) or strictly online. Either way, you'll be working with a runner who's as excited about your running as you are.
